How to make an account

The user experience of a DappRadar user gets enhanced and optimized the moment they register an account and connect their Web3 wallet. Let start with making an account by click the Account Button in the top menu. You will then press 'Sign Up'.

Creating an account can be done through various options:

1. Digital wallets, Web3 wallet incl. Metamask, WalletConnect, and Coinbase Wallet

2. Email address

3. Social media networks, limited to Facebook and Google accounts

Digital wallets

A digital wallet or Web3 wallet is your portal into blockchain applications. These wallets serve as your access key into services, and give you access to your token holdings. Currently DappRadar supports various Web3 wallet services, including Metamask, WalletConnect, Brave, Unstoppable Domains (UD Login) and Coinbase Wallet.

• Pick the Web3 wallet service you have installed

• A pop-up will appear, asking you to sign a message. This is to confirm that you're the owner of that particular wallet. This action doesn't require a transaction and is therefore free of charge.

• After connecting your Web3 wallet, you have an account. However, to optimize your experience on DappRadar you will need to complete your profile by adding your email address.

Email address

DappRadar also allows users to simply create an account using their email address.

1. Simply enter your email address

2. And create a strong and unique password, featuring capitals, symbols, letters and numbers. For example Th1sP4ssw0rd!s53cret*

3. Then press "Create Account"

4. You will need to complete a Captcha to confirm humanity

5. Now you will receive a verification email in your inbox

6. Open your email inbox, open the email and then click "Verify Email"

7. As a final step you can apply for promotional emails and newsletters

8. After which you press "Complete Account"

Social Media Networks

Accounts made through social media networks, in this case Facebook and Google, will go to the same process. DappRadar will extract the email from your preferred social media network and create an account for you.

Now what?

The most optimized DappRadar accounts have registered both their email address and connected their Web3 wallet. If you've already connected your Web3 wallet, things will be relatively easy.
